Random Thought

As the summer semester continues I'm am realizing more and more how improper my Spanish is... I'm actually learning a lot as I help my roommate with her Spanish homework every night. I've also realized that I never really learned why it is that we use certain word i certain spot or things of the sort... I just learned Spanish, I just speak it because I know what to say but I never knew why. On another, not lighter note, I was walking to class today with my roommate and we stumbled upon this poor baby geese... he was in the grass face up, dead. It was sad and it made me wonder was it is exactly that these Geese do out there. Just a thought! random

:( I love feeding ducks and geese. That makes me sad.

Work in a restaurant if you want to buff up on your Spanish. I used to think "muy bonita" was an offensive cat call, until the Spanish-speaking people told me otherwise.

It's interesting (to a nerd like me) how much English & Spanish relate on some words.
:( for the bird. I see dead ones about once a week at work & wonder what happened....

Well my spanish is pretty good, it was my first language however theres just so much to it when it comes to grammar. That funny though, i guess it could be used as a cat call!

espanol esta muy bonita, y fuerte.

Most is veryinformal. Where I grew up in New Mexico, it was always a combination of gringo, spanish and Indian.

I know enough not to starve to death, and can read better than speak.
